The following is the price list for our bathrooms renovation package. In most cases, homeowner can overlay or hack and tile the whole bathroom. There are some differences in the pricing between the 2 due to the amount of work and material used. There are also differences if it private (whether condo or landed).
HDB Overlay for 2 x bathrooms package ($9500)
1) Removal of all existing 2 x bathroom accessories including WC, basin, stainless steel pipes
2) Labour to overlay 2 x bathroom floor and wall including waterproofing with 104 (waterproof material)
3) Materials (cement, 104, etc)
4) $3 and below tiles from Hafary (after tax / Size 300×300 or 300×600)
5) Plumbing works for 2 bathroom (installation with PUB submission): Instant heater, WC, basin, Stainless steel pipping, installation of all accessories like towel rack, toilet roll holder, mirror, etc.
6) Electrical works for 2 x instant heater with new switch and wiring
7) Electrical works: new casing for existing ceiling light wiring
8) Haulage
9) Protective sheets for flooring to put materials
10) Disposal of all materials and debris after work is completed
Optional or add-ons (For Overlay)
11) Dismantle bifold door with frame at $80 each
12) Dismantle and disposal of 1 or 2 shower screen at $150
13) Plumbing installation works: Bidet spray $50 each
14) (if upgrade to storage heater) Plumbing work or 1 x storage heater with 2 x shower mixer $140
15) (if upgrade to storage heater) Electrical works for storage with 2 way switch $150
16) Change 2 x ceiling lights with new wiring and switch $150
17) Painting works: ceiling apply sealer and paint white + sewage pipe for 2 bathroom $280
18) General Cleaning $120

Things to take note of
*** All bath accessories provide by owner
*** Cutting of tiles will create dust in the house
*** Aircon pipes removal and rerouting is excluded (you might need to engage aircon contractor)
*** If cannot put number lock, then owner have to be at home to open and lock door
*** Expected completion is 12 working days
*** Payment terms: Confirmation $1000, Material delivered $3000, Balance upon completion. All payment via bank transfer.
*** Invoice will be issued upon confirmation
*** Special design tilings works will incur additional cost
For private property owners
Usually we will need more information as private property has too many size variation, condition and situation. For example condominium has shorter working hours or landed property hand more stairs to climb during haulage or debris disposal.
